Last year many of you purchased the Fuming Rotter Animated zombie fogger from Spirit.

And the consensus seemed to be that this thing is EXTREMELY fragile, but looks pretty cool in action. The video on the spirit site shows that this particular animated fogger is different from others in that you can see that the head actually dips as it goes from side to side (left to right). Most other fog accessories like this just turn left to right on the horizontal axis. I like how this one looks, at least in the video. However, spirit also has another fuming zombie fog accessory.

I think this "Gaseous Zombie" is brand new for 2011, but I like the way it looks better than the other one (Fuming Rotter). However, it seems this gaseous zombie only moves from side to side in a less realistic manner (same as the wretched reaper). So the gaseous zombie seems to have better detail but worse animation.

I know you can see videos of these items on the website. But these are not as good as in-person observation. So my question is, has anyone seen both of these in action? If so, does one look better than the other?

That's a tough call, but I like the look of the "Gaseous Zombie" the best based off those pictures you posted.

Here's a video of the "Zombie" I found on Youtube.

I've only seen the Fuming one in the stores & that was last year. It was not put together well. Just a weird thin plastic frame with some fabric over the frame. The head & hands are hard plastic.

I like the look of the Gaseous one better but it looks pretty much like the other one give or take a movement or 2. I'd guess the more movement, the more movement to break.

Yet Gaseous is $10 more than Fuming & it doesn't have the extra movement.

I bought gaseous today at Halloween Express for about $10 cheaper than Spirits. Hard to believe as Spirits prices are typically cheaper.
