yeah very true, I ( hope) they have a couple shows before that. The guy put me on hold for a good 3 mins, while he looked it up. But I am hoping that they do some more sooner then that. I know last year they did them in late Sept. Anyways just passing the info that I was told on to you guys

No, the word from QVC is that there were too many Halloween returns, so no more Halloween shows.

I have found some really good deals on Martha Stewart crafts for Halloween from HSN's website in the past. Thanks for sharing the info.

Halloween returns? What was QVC selling that needed returning? QVC had some great Halloween stuff. Chiodo Brothers masks & props & stuff, it was nice stuff.
October 17 for Halloween stuff on HSN? They've already had a Christmas show on QVC but HSN is waiting until 2 weeks before Halloween to run their Halloween show.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

@Halloween Returns
Sadly there are people who purchase Halloween items for an early Halloween party and then return them so they don't have to store them or pay for them.... they take advantage of the stores' return policies and stores are left with seasonal items they can't reseale.
I personally have a friend who purchases elaborate items for parties and then returns them after (everything from props to projectors)... and even challenges the charges if the store refuses the return....
Because of guys like him, I have noticed it is becoming extremely difficult to return holiday merchandise.... even before the holiday.... and even if the merchandise is defective
(I personally am a halloween hoarder... I never return items... I always believe I will use them sometime in the future... and I love having a mini halloween store in my shed)Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable

That stinks that people would take advantage of the return policy.
I remember for a time in the mid-90s the QVC Halloween special was THE place to get Halloween stuff. This was pre-internet/Spirit, so unless you had a costume shop or cool drug store in your town, QVC was it. I got a Devil Mask from QVC that is still one of the best masks I've ever owned, though sadly it has started to deteriorate over the last few years.
I also remember Sears had a Halloween Shop in their stores back in the late 80's that sold Don Post masks.
It is really amazing how much more stuff is available these days.
