You know what... I'm going to get off the computer as soon as I post this and go start putting up some indoor decorations. August 31 is the official start of the Halloween season, so why haven't I put up anything yet other than what is up all year (and one thing I put up because I just bought it)? I think I will put on some nice Halloween music while I'm doing it, too.... but I can't decide between Midnight Syndicate and Deathlike Silence.

Wow! Time flies. I remember when it said 100 days until Halloween. This is my first attempt at a haunt in my new location. Very nervous. Good luck to everyone!

I know I am frantically getting in as much time doing construction at the attraction I work at! I love how a simple project takes a whole day to complete!!!
Im even taking time off of work! (A guy has to have priorities you know....)

I still need to figure out what, exactly, I'm going to be doing this year. Just a basic graveyard got all the neighbors talking last year so clearly I don't need to get very fancy to impress the people in my area
. While I'd love to build things, I simply don't have the storage space for big props anymore so I've just been sitting back and thinking about what to do. I do want to get at least one realistic skeleton and maybe make a PVC lifesize prop that can be broken down easily. Other than that... probably make some tombstones to go along with the ones from Walgreens last year. I might go with a mad laboratory scene in front of the garage. Right now I'm working on tutorials for realistic eyeballs and for making LED spotlights with parts you can find in Walmart and Home Depot. We have about 5x as many Home Depots as Lowes in my area so I'm trying to stick to stores that are the most common.
