I would like to add or hang, dangle or place a prop at the front entrance of our house, just as you walk up the front steps and look up, there is a triangle pitch roof with a perfect spot to hang something or lay a goul with an arm outstretched for example - anyone know where I can get such a thingy or have an idea?
Thanks.

They have the peepers on ebay that look over the edge and down at children as they walk up. I think they run about $59. Pretty cool if you can afford it. You could mount a spider upside down and then light it and put some webbing around it. Use some hot glue on the ends of the legs to attach to the underside of the overhang. Just a couple quick ideas.

I picked up this guy back in 2007 from Walgreens for about $35 if I remember correctly. He has a strong metal hook on the back for hanging and we just draped the trailing fabric out of the way so we could still use the garage.

I also made a giant spider last year, but need to figure out a better way to secure the legs (may be remaking the legs as I ran out of time last year so the legs are all droopy
)...

I also was thinking of a spider, or a bunch of bats and cobwebs!
