These came in today...I'm thrilled with them; they look surprisingly realistic. They're "Funkins" knockoffs. I haven't carved them (and I haven't carved Funkins) but I don't intend to carve them. They're part of my faux "pumpkin patch."
The big one was $10 and the two smalls, which really aren't *so* small (6"), were $8 for both.
I may need to invest in one more large and one more set of two smalls.
Again...I can't vouch for their carvability and in fact, someone told me on here recently that they're harder to carve and maybe less sturdy (?? somebody correct me) to carve than Funkins, but they feel fairly substantial -- they're not like air or anything -- and they look GREAT. I'm very happy!
Just wanted to pass this info along.

Are they the same as Michael's looking at the outsides? The carving guys who are big into selling / making jacks out of them are skipping the Michael's this year for the most part because this year they have a window-frame spine in them this year that is a nightmare to shave even if you want to avoid the lines while lighting them.

MissMandy, me too -- because I forgot something I wanted to order!!
sumrtym, I don't know what Michael's pumpkins look like because I haven't bought from them. Or well, I bought pumpkins at Michael's but they were Autumn Inspirations brand or something like that. Those are pretty darned realistic!
But these are pretty realistic too...they're even different on one side from the other like pumpkins naturally grow.
I don't know what kind of a spine they have. Like I said, I don't intend to carve them.
