Got some good news for any Tri-cities Tennessee haunters out there. The Halloween Express In Johnson City Tennessee is open NOW!! Its August 27, 2011 and I just got back from there. They said that most of what they had was left over from last year and the manager wanted to get some stuff sold to make room for the pending newer arrivals.

But for goodness sake August 27 !?!?!?

Ours is in the process of setting up. They seem to have racks of costumes, and there are some props in the front window that were there last year too. I remember they didn't have much in the way of decent props, but a lot of masks, costumes, accessories. Hoping they get some new things in this year. There is no opening date posted on the store front but I drive past almost eveey day so maybe they'll be open next week. Ours opened three weeks before Spirit last year.
