Make it decently priced and comes off walls easily.

I have window clings and the decor from last year's SR.

    Decoration ideas/tips/suggestions?

Dollar Tree sells some nice signs - I've seen a couple that say things like "Beware of Zombies" and "Cemetery" and the like. They also have creepy cloth in black and gray. If you hung that from the ceiling (either using pushpins or tickytack stuff for putting up posters) against the walls and draped over the blinds in the window it would be both creepy and give you something to hang other (lightweight) things off of. They had skeleton garland as well (it's twine with four 3 inch skeletons per strand).

Lighting is big. Some strands of purple or green lights or something like this flame light and maybe some flicker candles (great tutorials on here for making your own, but there are plenty of cheap flicker candles and halloween candle holders out there for cheap - Dollar Tree and places like Big Lots and Walgreens are your friend).

Back when I was in college, a friend and I covered our walls with blacklight paint that was invisible in normal lighting. Flip a blacklight on and all of the designs glowed. I want to say we used highlighter markers but I can't remember now.

Walgreens should be stocking stuff in the next few weeks. I saw some awesome door posters last year featuring Freddy and Jason and they would play a small sound bite (motion activated) that would be fun if you're into them. They also have tons of stuff like skulls, large tombstones, lights and general decorations... it's one of my personal favorites to shop.

Webs - I love using the cheap webbing in a bag, but it's got to be the scratchy stuff not the silky stuff. Silky just breaks apart but the scratchy is the stuff that if you have lots of anchor points low and high and stretch it out and fuss with it a bit, will look REALLY good.

It's also possible to make a web using fuzzy yarn. The above pics are examples of a full web, and you can kind of see the bag o webbing at the top too. If you did this inside a dorm room, I'd probably use the bag web and do it in an area where you can get lots of anchor points and out of the way so you don't mess it up once you get it looking good. If you do the yarn web, maybe a smaller area?

Fuzzy spiders and spider egg sacs (again, tutorial for the eggs sacs are on this forum somewhere). I've picked up 10-12 inch spiders at Michaels, Garden Ridge and Walgreens for under $7. BUT you can get 2-4 inch spiders at the Dollar Tree and just get lots of them and hot glue them to your walls (if you've got the cinderblock ones - don't do this to regular walls, maybe just the door or mirror or other non-porous surfaces)...

Slasher stuff. Like Freddy and Michael and Jason and Ghostface.

They're the ones who go after the teenagers and college kids.

Bump! I'm interested, too. I just moved to college and I have always loved decking out the entire house in Halloween decor...so I'm trying to make the most of a dorm room this year! I'm thinking about making some vintage-style black and orange garlands and use lots of paper cutouts.
