I have an idea for a creepy playroom to add to our yard haunt. My thoughts so far are a plain room with a small tv on a stand in the corner; on but not tuned to anything, so that it is just static. Some well used toys on shelfs or in a toybox or maybe both; but all neat and orderly. Then having either a large rocking horse or one of those horses with the springs that the kids could bounce up and down on (that would be my preference). I want to have it rocking or bouncing by itself, but I don't know how to make that happen.
I did just see liuoliveira's awesome creepy kid's room pics and that only increased my desire to work this out! LOL
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

my first thoughts are a jack-in-the-box with the handle cranking by itself. modified dolls with those terrible faces sitting on the shelves yearning for a long, lost owner. i always wanted to to do my play room up with white sheets partially covering toys and a rocking chair and such...like the children have been away. in the middle of the sheets have a rising sheet ghost or something static like a mannequin. to me, having the sound of children singing or of them playing would be the key to freaking me out. playrooms and nurseries have always giving me the creeps.

Zombiefrac; excellent ideas! I love the thought of the children's sounds! That would add a creep factor for sure!
Liuoliveira; I can see why you love it! Thank you both for some great ideas! I can see this room coming together!
