So I have a question. I just bought a few three way adapters to run my houses, the adapter say they are 4.5v 1000amps and it has three plugs running from it to plug into the back of three different things. Does that mean if I plug in three houses that are 700amp required each, that I am over exerting the adapter by 1100 amps? And im guessing that is a bad thing, Im not great with electricity.

I'm assuming you mean milliamps. Yes, that's far too much and the AC adapter will overheat and break quickly. Sounds like you need one adapter per house. 700mA sounds kind of high but I guess if it has a lot of moving parts...

Yes milliamps. Whats the point of the adapters then if you can plug in three things...

I don't collect these things but from what I've seen they have other things like street lights, light up phone booths, etc, that go with the houses? Something like that... anyway something with just LED lights and no moving parts generally needs less than 100mA.

Xane is right. Lemax has many little accessories like figurines, lightposts, and things that are running on batteries or you can use adapters they sell separately. Lemax offers adapters where you can plug in 3 or 5 of these little accessories, but not houses. That would be way too much for the adapters and you could blow the adapter, the houses, or your electrical outlets. When I started collecting I was really confused by this as well. I use a few power surge protectors for my houses, and the multi-plug adapters for little accessories only.
