If your capabilities had no real funding limitations, what would your imagination conjure up for a single season's haunt (or party)? You can hire as many actors or artists as you want, buy or build as many props as you want, as long as it's a single vision or theme that could reasonably be achieved in a year's time. You're limited by existing technology - no antigravity units, even if they would be ridiculously useful! - and legalities. No real human corpses, sorry!
Go forth and let your imagination play!

id probably have an elaborate witches house set up in a huge graveyard where you walked along the path and had different set ups and scenes every so often. live actors popping out of graves, trained protection dogs going off and acting like they would attack but then being called back at the last minute...holographic ghosts rising out of graves and flying away...a potions hut where you can taste the 'treats'... a fortune teller doing live tarot readings or something.... basically something new and different at every turn.
i have the SPACE to do it just not the money (or skills) LOL
oh! and id have holographic ghost children playing on the playset out back too!Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker. - Linus

I'd have a pro haunt with multiple houses, live music every night, and a big midway with games and crafts.

Lots of animatronic trees and old weathered gravestones with a low lying stonewall fence and the ruins of an old church in the back, not that I have planned it or anything!
And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting

i would love to have an animated witch on some kind of wire that flies down from the roof of the house to the front lawn and then back up again, screaming and screeching each time.

It would look exactly like the WDW Haunted Mansion because it would BE the WDW Haunted Mansion.

Well, it seems someones already posted what I'd want (lol, mentioned the church ruins in my likes/dislikes for the Secret Reaper). Except for two things. I'd like a large animatronic dragon in a cave, and a haunted house too

I'll have to do a how-to when I build another one. I lost my storage unit 4 years ago that contained mine. Believe me when I say that a fast flying witch is very, very effective! Unfortunately, the parts are far from cheap. Think 4wd R/C race car converted for use as an overhead trolley, and you'll get the idea. I have some of the parts to start, but I won't be able to afford it this year. :/

The old creepy inn, the one across from the town's graveyard, the place that sat empty for the last two years. Yes, it's the same place the elderly people in town talk about as being "Haunted" because of the things they experienced there. It is hidden behind the store fronts , on the edge of a cliff and has a huge wine cellar below the basement chiseled out of solid rock, this is where people have always seen a ghost of a woman since 1925.
I would add a cupola on the roof to hold my UFO on it's roof.
I would work building night and day doing secret passages, hidden doors and devices unnamed for fear of getting locked up because .. well, just "because".
It would have "Things" not seen anywhere else because I built them, like a steel full-sized coffin mounted upright on a tank track with a flat-head V-12 engine pushing it, all painted white with a big round porthole in the coffin lid.
I would only scare people with simple, stupid, mundane common items that allow them to laugh right after they screamed! = No phobias.
OVer half of them would be getting their biggest scares with all the lights "ON", just to show them what I can accomplish, others who think they can't get scared I would lull into a false sense of security (or would that be a distracting entertaining diversion doing this?)
People who don't even know me would be impressed by the amount of work that one dedicated, maniacal person can accomplish.....
But most importantly, people would have really good, fun, memorable times here and please the old spirits living here with the interjection of such energy.
I would be just like that Jim Warfield guy, but I'm just Gym Whourlfeld."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
