With the popularity of the new movie, I was just wondering if anyone is doing anything related to simians in their haunts this year.

nope, just my two little monkeys *ahem* children running around :P I would LOVE to see a giant downed statue of liberty in someone's yard haunt though, it would be a task, but look great if pulled off well!

Oh lord I adore the classic version. I think in a roundabout way It's what really got me interested in Halloween and fancy dress in general.

My Zira costume was the first thing I ever made.

Going to see the new one on Sunday & I can't wait. I love all things POTA, except for that awful Tim Burton "reimagining." The ONLY reason to watch that thing is to turn the sound off & just look at the amazing makeups Rick Baker did.

That would be a good idea, but far too involved for my brain right now. If I had endless $$$ I'd buy or make all sorts of POTA stuff & go all out but I don't so I'll stick with my graveyard & pumpkins again.

I would have considered doing a spin on it if I didn't assume for the better part of a year that the film would be horrible. How dare they make another Planet of the Apes film work with all CGI critters? The nerve of some people.

No she was real. It was part of a series of photos that my local newspaper took of me to go with a little piece they wrote about my interests and my desire to work in TV etc when I was a teenager.

I wish I'd ended up a charted accountant now. Ha!
