For people in the United States, or Canada, or wherever these stores are found, Post pictures or comments of sightings in these stores! I live in Eastern Canada, and there's not one sign of Halloween merchandise in stores yet, but I'm sure there are/is in other places!![]()

we do have a thread stickied for encompassing all stores, there are individual ones already for Big Lots and I think Walmart. I always check the sticky first though, lots of stores Ive never heard of before in there, lol. In the main General section, I know of Homegoods/TJMaxx, Lowes and Michaels with lots of pics. Also, Ghost of Spooky has lots already posted in her album to view all in one place.

You might want to monitor the 2011 Halloween Merchandise Thread for current updates on which stores are stocking right now, and I know there's been a few threads in this section with updates on specific stores.
Just went to Menard's (a upper-Midwest Hardware/do-it-yourself store) & they were getting aisles ready for Halloween stock. So exciting!Haunt to Live ... Live to Haunt

Hmm, it might be a good idea to have a Canadian thread though, so people don't get confused when stores stock completely different products (and so the US people don't faint when they see a price that's 50% higher than what we pay
).

I see many above this post have already indicated that for the most part these threads already exist. BTW last year people from Canada did start a thread for shopping. Helped a lot of people find things locally that they didn't know was in their vicinity. Also think there was a UK/Europe thread and I remember some posts from people in Australia. Don't recall exactly how any of these were titled but it always helps to put the year in the title and location if not U.S.
While I don't check non-U.S. shopping threads like I do for the ones for stores here in the U.S., I do enjoy looking through them just to see what others countries get in. From my perspective its also interesting to compare what HomeSense gets in compared to HomeGoods here in the U.S. It's always fun to see how people celebrate the holiday.

Was at Walmart Canada today, they said Halloween will be out by the first week in September. She said it could be as early as the last week of August, thought that was good news

Sinechiller, I was at my local Walmart a few days ago, and they had already started! The storage room was open, and just outside of the door, and inside the room, were boxes of Halloween Decorations (Dept. 18) and there was a box for a lifesize crawling figure, which was a skeleton with grey hands and skull!

The only store with halloween stuff so far is dollarama. I am waiting for the styrafoam skulls that they had last year for a twoonie. Hope they get some in. I live in a small town so I have to wait until I get to windsor or london to see if the other stores have their stuff out.
