Thread: Halloween onesies for baby shower gift?

ok, my cousin is having a baby shower and i am gonna get her some cute Halloween onesies for her soon to be baby girl. now, i wasn't invited to the shower cuz it's mostly for ladies, but she is my favorite cousin and she is always nice to me, so i figured i would surprise her by having my sisters bring along my gift to the shower. you think some cute Halloween onesies would be cool to give as a shower gift? i'm thinking everybody else is gonna give a bunch of puke inducing pink items, or whatever she had registered for, etc. and since i was not invited to the shower, i don't have to follow the list. plus, my gift will stand out. what do you ladies think?

I bet she will love it. I would have. There are some really cute halloween outfits for babies. There is no mom that can resist a cute pumpkin onsie on a little baby. Even the ones that like gorey stuff.. And you can counter it with a zombie onsie.

I'm sure she'd love it and don't forget to get a Halloween bib and stuffed toy to go with it... inspire the baby's love of Halloween with the toy early :P

You know what would blow her mind, If you went with something completely different. She'll be expecting something Halloween related so get something pink, & frilly. You would tug her heart strings for sure and you can even volunteer to use your "expertise" in purchasing the baby's first H'ween costume at a later time.

old navy, children's place and please mum are great places for that stuff! our friend had gone on a trip to the US just before our first was born, and brought us back a carter's outfit...it was a little white and orange striped long sleeved onesie, orange pants, matching socks, and a little pumpkin hat, the shirt had an embroidered pumpkin and said "my first halloween" it was precious! kept it as one of the "special" outfits that we are holding on to

but definitely check out the three retailers I mentioned, they usually get adorable stuff
