I just caught a commercial for American Pickers on the History channel tonight at 9:00 PM EST. I saw a glimpse of an old, vintage style hearse. The blurb for the show says it's about "a funeral director who keeps everything." Could be some cool stuff to get ideas from!

they find so much cool stuff... I'd never be able to sell it all. I'd make a horrible (for profit) picker! LOL

The thing that bugs me on that show is they never buy old coca cola stuff. It seems like they only look for odd things.

LOL, they do buy some things that look like total garbage... all rusted out bike frames and such. I love the wicked old hearses, this one looks white in the commercial, which seems very unusual. I can't wait to see it. And I saw the commercial again and it definitely said all new episode tonight.

It was brief, but that was a very cool 1921 hearse!

The local funeral director here has one like that and it is BEAUTIFUL. His is black though. It's oak lined with a stained glass window between the back and the cab. No kidding I took out extra insurance on myself just so I can be hauled in that thing. HOPEFULLY I will outlive him though he's pretty old.

American Pickers could stand to diversify their picking. I'm getting a little tired of signs and gas pumps. I like Oddities better and Pawn Stars.
