While I don't really keep up any Halloween decorations all year long, I DO leave a few of those black plastic spiders around for the cat to play with. Our family doesn't really notice them any more... and it's easy to forget that visitors aren't expecting a two inch spider at every turn.
The installer of mom's new lift chair just jumped four feet in the air.

Funny! I buy my cats these eyeball ping-pong balls to play with, they love them. They bounce really well. I bought two big packages of them last year and the cats managed to hide them all! So there are probably eyeballs hidden all over the house now.
That reminds me, I need to look for more of those when Party City gets their Halloween stuff out.
My previous cat loved playing with those large toy tarantulas that have a tube and a bulb so you can make them jump by pumping air in them. We always had one or two lying around, usually with a few legs missing from her playing.Zombie Eradication/Disposal Unit (ZEDU) - K-9 Patrol Division

Yeah it's pretty funny when you hear CLACK! CLACK! CLACK! and you look and there's an eyeball bouncing down the stairs!

I don't intentionally leave the plastic spiders out but they seem to get everywhere and I don't notice them. I spilled a package of them in my car last Halloween and thought I cleaned them all up but didn't notice some under the seat until I braked hard recently. Days later a friend got in my car and about had a heart attack while we were driving...I didn't know why she was screaming so it scared me half to death too
As I was going up the stair, I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. I wish, I wish he'd go away.
