Sure, it probably won’t convince many people due to its inanimate nature, but it’s still pretty cool. It sure beats those crazy garden gnomes. At the very least, those crazy door-to-door salesmen might think twice before wandering up your walkway. You can pick one up for $90.
Of course, as an idea, you can probably build your own for around $20.

Great idea, TK421! It looks very cool - it's a really nice photo.
Maybe Travelocity will take your advice. That'd freshen up their marketing.

He actually looks a little too clean for a zombie, I'd want to scuff him up with some dirt and rotting skin bits.

He's great!!
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Someone posted about him last year I think after buying him. He's something you don't forget the looks of once you've seen him. I'm sure they said they got him from Design Toscano.
If I was going to incorporate him in a yard haunt I would consider having him getting sucked into a vertical vortex if he could be supported that way--maybe one of those endless pits modified to create the looks of a vortex. If you had a jungle theme (I'm planning a Skull Island one), he could be a prop drowning in quicksand. In an industrial theme he could be dissolving in a vat of acid.... Just some thoughts.
Update: yep found him on the Design Toscano site: http://www.designtoscano.com/product...+-+db383020.do
BTW last year Kmart online was selling some of the Design Toscano designs at a lower price and if you could pick it up at the store you saved even more money off of the shipping. Don't know if they are carrying their designs again but DT does have lots of nicely detailed statutes and more. What's great about them too is that they carry medieval, gothic, Egyptian, and dragons and gargoyle designs which fit nicely into haunts.
