Thread: My 4 year old doesn't understand there are still 88 days until Halloween

It's a nice, warm summer day. Blue sky, slight breeze, kids playing in the sprinkler . . . quite nice.

After the littles were done with the sprinkler, it was time to come inside and get the swimsuits off. They seemed happy in their room playing, so I went to clean up a bit.

A little later, they're both giggling and come out of their room with costumes on.



My 4 year old stares at the countdown clock asking me if it's Halloween yet. She just doesn't grasp the concept that there are still 88 days until Halloween.

LOL isn't that just precious! Honestly, I use to do the same thing. Would drive my mother nuts!

Used to? Heck, I still do that

my 5 year old does the same. everywhere we go he tells people my daddy is building halloween decorations and people look at me like i am crazy

Still 88 more days? Don't you mean "Only" (sounds like a bright young lady to me!)

And I gotta say that having a giant ticking Halloween countdown clock in the living room in August just *might* add to her sense of urgency.
