    I didn't even know that the Haunted Mansion in WDW was getting re-vamped again! I found a site that shows all of the great new features you can see, hear and TOUCH in the all new INTERACTIVE queue for the Haunted Mansion! Yet another in the millions of reasons it is the best attraction EVER!

    Was just there a couple weeks ago. Being a local, normally would NEVER go in July, but niece was down from Maine. It had the longest wait of all! It is really cool. The line splits right before it with a 'direct route' and 'scenic route' Because of the heat, a lot of people took the direct route. It is fun to try to put the books in, or play music on the stones. The hillside is really cool.

    couple of phone pics;

    And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting

    Great pics! Have they changed anything inside recently??

    OMG I have not been inside the WDW Haunted Mansion since ... 2000 I think and the DL Haunted Mansion since 1986. I have been reading sites like DoomBuggies to get the updates though so I won't be so shocked at the newer upgrades (which are almost always wonderful!)

    Beautiful photos BR1MSTON3! I've heard some folks complaining that they feel it kind of gives things away to show you all that before the ride. I've never been to WDW, but I do love the Mansion at Disneyland and the way it looks completely normal from the outside.

    But it's hard to argue when they're putting money and effort in to enhance things. I'd love to check it out for myself. (I hear the new hitchhiking ghosts at the end are pretty impressive too!) Thanks for the link killerhaunts.

    What amazes me is how they can make all that stuff take so much punishment. The books alone- all that pushing. Is it air? That has to be air to stand up to that. Job one with that stuff is- how do we at least make it rugged because as evidence, people are typically brutal if they can get their hands on something!

    We were there back in May and had a lot of fun with the new enhancements. Especially loved the ghost writer and the bubble blowing, water spewing crypt!

    I was also there in May and there were no crowds. So I really didn't have time to mess with the interactive stuff. It was pretty much just walk-on no wait. We just looped and rode it over and over. My husband and I would see who could run through and hit the cat on the way and make him scream. It was fun but alot of long time Mansion fans aren't as pleased. They think it takes away from the atmosphere. It does when it's kinda empty but I would think that 900 other people standing in line with you would take away from the atmosphere too. The HHG on the inside is great, I love it when they swap heads. I miss that place.

    If you press all of the musical instruments at once it plays a tune. Of course you need help from others in line. Its amazing.

    OMG it sounds so awesome! For those who have seen it, is it true that if you plug up a leak on the Sailor's tomb water will shoot out of another hole?? That sounds hilarious!

    OH! OH! What cat?? I didn't see anything about a cat!
