I might decorate again my basement (see my gallery) and aroud the inside of the house this year (Usually, we have props lying everywhere inside the house, but not as decorations (L).

Do you decorate both inside and outside, or only outside?

I decorate the outside and the windows at the beginning of October and put my smaller Halloween-related items on the mantle and such and put some of my Living Dead Dolls out. I also put a table in front of the bay window and put a display on that so people can see it when they walk past outside... But I generally don't decorate the rest of the interior until the day of my Halloween party which is usually the Saturday before Halloween. I usually leave as much of that up until after Halloween as I can.
If I didn't have a Halloween party I would probably just do the small items, mantle and window display indoors and the usual outdoors stuff, I would not all-out decorate inside.

I usually only decorate outside but maybe since my daughter is not as afraid of the scary stuff this year, I'll decorate inside, too! I really can't remember ever doing it so I think it'll be fun :P

I decorate inside earlier in the season and plan on decorating outside around the first week in October.

That's pretty much what I do. Sometimes I can't contain my excitement and I start decorating my back yard at the end of September.

I go all out on the inside of my house - usually in early September. I remove all of the decorations from my living room and box them up, then bring out all of my Halloween decorations and go nuts! I decorate my living room, bathroom, hallway, kitchen and my 10' x 24' screen porch (it is a 3 season room). I put some stuff up outside in early October, but wait to do the cemetery until the night of my party. I'd have Halloween stuff up year round if I could! =)

I kinda do have Halloween stuff up year round, but only in my bedroom and I don't really consider most of it Halloween-specific stuff. Just stuff I like.
I collect Living Dead Dolls and Little Apple Dolls and have those displayed in my bedroom along with some Skelanimals and other interesting horror themed collectibles, my black feather wreath and a fake raven.
If I could I'd have stuff all over the house year round but the rest of my family won't agree.

I have a 14 X 32 building that's still set up from last year....It's the only way to guarantee all the money I spend on a walk through is not going to blow away, get rained on, or stolen....I also decorate the outside...There's a side area that's 16 X 24 that's fenced in and can't be seen by the road that gets decorated the week of....The front of the building can be seen from the road so it gets decorated the day of the party and then tore down later that evening.....Too many hunters in the area to leave that much camo netting up over night.....So both inside and outside....ZR

I decorate almost exclusively outside. My purchases reflect this too!
