They had a small display at our local mall Hallmark. Cute and pricey items. Ghost that goes in the fridge and speaks every time you open it ($14.95), very nice ornaments, witch's hat that moves/sings/talks, witch's spell book that is a candy holder when opened, etc. My favorites were the Lolita hand-painted wine and pilsner glasses...very awesome! It was just so exciting to see Halloween stuff out!

Sounds delightful! Our local Hallmark closed after Christmas this year. Everything in the store was 25-75 percent off, and the owner said she still was losing money!
I wish I could see their stuff! It is cute!

Ha! I was just in Hallmark today too, Cortney, and was pretty impressed. I only got one photo off before I embarassed the missus completely (the store clerks were VERY amused). But unfortunately I missed most of the stuff you mentioned.



The little skeleton in the pumpkin does a "spooky hokey pokey" with his head. Mummy Snoopy does a little walk to the tune of Grieg's Hall of the Mountain King (actually pretty cute). They've got a nice little countdown calendar (bottom right.) And faux candles with witch-head flames. I like those a lot.

They also had a little button that said something like "push this if you dare" and it lets out a big long witch's cackle (and then says "I don't get it.) I didn't try the talking Scooby Doo or the Witch's hat. I figured we'd tortured the staff enough.

Lots of really cute things for a small display, but yeah, a little pricey.

Gobby, see the polka-dot witches hat in your pic? That's the one that talks/sings/moves. You are just like my husband...he is ALWAYS taking pictures of Halloween items. I get so embarrassed! I also saw button...too funny! Love the heavy knocking with the girl saying, 'I'll be out in a minute!'

Oh crap. You mean it played more than one thing? We were probably playing with stuff for 10 minutes and we still didn't catch it all. Awww.

I never used to take photos of these things. It's the forums that done this to me. I hold your husband partially responsible!

OMG we almost stopped in our local Hallmark store today to pick up a get well card and I decided not to stop. Now wishing we did. I've got to ask....you mentioned a spell book. Hallmark had a really cool spell book a few years back that I would have loved to have picked up. Ayone get any pics of the one in the stores this year?

This link should take you to a pic of the new spell book on the Hallmark website. I saw it in person today. Not as much 3-D detail on the cover as the one they did a few years back. And not as dark, and well, spooky looking. I didn't check to see if it had sound.

Cool! Thanks Velvet Vampire. I like the detailing with the hinges and "leather" binding on the book and the Hocus Pocus lettering. BTW the description on the link you sent me to does says it has sound as well. I'm definitely got to make a trip back that way again soon. BTW the last spell book was rather pricey on eBay where I first found out about Hallmark doing these special Halloween items each year so I don't want to miss out on this at the regular price.

The hokey pokey skellie is cute. And I like the witches hat too. I look for something to give our next door neighbor's girl, 3 now, for Halloween and hope years from now she will remember me as the lady who loved Halloween.

I picked up the book yesterday it has 6 phrases. The price is 14.95.
