I don't remember what I was first halloween, but the ones that stick out to me are about 2nd grade when I had no teeth.. jack o lantern. classic one. and also Harry Potter when it first came out. I also remember probably the coolest costume was a homemade one. It was a big box, wrapped in white paper and places for my arms and head in it. on my head I wore a black plastic hat and had on black dress pants with black shoes and socks.. also put the black dots (construction paper) to represent the other dots... I was a dice haha! coolest costume ever

I don't remember my first halloween, but I do remember at some point being princess leia complete with braids on the side of my head (I wasn't allowed to cut my hair the entire time I was growing up until I was a junior in highschool). I also remember being casper the friendly ghost. It was a plastic costume with a mask that came in a box. Even now that plastic smell reminds me of Halloween and makes me smile.

I have some vague memories of my first Trick Or Treating when I was 5. Some memories of going to people's front steps, the dark, a Jack O' Lantern, etc...
On a related note, last year, my mother came to my halloween party (and even dressed as a witch...cool). When she came through the door, she handed me a small black bag and said' "I thought you might want these." There were 3 pics from my first Halloween TOTing. I was a little Devil with a red jumper and small blue horns. Great pics from 1973! BUT, not only did she have the pics, but she still had the costume which she also gave to me! That was one of the neatest things she has ever given me. Awesome. Thanks Mom!"Understand death? Sure. That was when the monsters got you."-Stephen King, "Salem's Lot"

The earliest Halloween I remember I was Donald Duck.
I remember a woman asking if I was a boy or a girl and my dad held out my long hair, I think it was the house that always gave out rings (don't know what they gave boys!)Anything can happen on Halloween...

I dressed up in my life sized Raggedy Ann's clothes. My mother said I lasted 2 blocks. I would just yell "candy" when people answered the door!

I think I was a bunny. That's only because of pictures. The first one I remember was a clown.

One need not be a house; The brain has corridors surpassing Material places.
