Thread: 99 days until Halloween but how many until you start decorating ?

Hey guys well wow Halloween will be here in no time, anytime it goes down to 2 numbers like 99, it moves fast ! But my question is, how many days until you guys start decorating your house ? for me I will start with the inside decorating,and windows, the last week of Sept so for me its 63 days,until the inside and windows become halloween time ha ha. So yeah just wondering what about you guys ? when. and what do you do to start ? I dont do the front yard until Halloween day, I have always done it like that. I might put a few tombstones out like mid Oct but 99.9 percent of all the props come out halloween day in the yard. But in the meantime I love when the indoors is all done up last week of Sept.

YAY 99 days!!!!!

We're planning a Halloween party mid-October.....so I want everything done by the day I pick for the party. So I'll probably start the inside Labor Day weekend (maybe) and decorating the yard mid to end of Sept. Working on building some things now....

I actually start sneaking some stuff out in the inside of the house starting in August. I know I know....way early....but it's usually candle holders and things like that. I'll start really going at it mid Sept. I usually start with more fall oriented decor and then gradually switch to Halloween decor toward the end of sept early oct.

I'll be starting inside putting up stuff right after Labor Day. My goal this year is to be completely decorated inside and out by the end of Sept. I believe it's under 50 days for me. I am so excited I can't wait.

I bring a couple things out in August and then take everything out around the second weekend of September. Usually very late September is when I light a strobe light in my window to get people ready for the holiday! Then October 1st, I begin to contemplate when I'll start putting up the front-yard haunt!

So, about 50 days until I get everything out!!

awsome you guys, ! yeah my bedroom i have some props put all year loll. but for sure will start decorating last week of sept. Great to hear what you guys are doing to, so I know im not alone on bringing things out early !

I don't like to rush! LOL And with everything I have to do, I like to space it out over time....plus by putting it up early, I get to enjoy it longer!

Last year I had everything decorated (inside) by the third week in Sept. I'd like to do the same this year! Can't wait.

I didn't really decorate outside much last year, just pumpkins because there are some losers in the neighborhood with sticky fingers. I'd like to do some stuff outside this year, but don't want to be robbed - again. Those bastards! lol

I start early September with my basement, it gets a complete transformation for my yearly Halloween Party. I start putting up some stuff for my haunt in early October but the main portion of the haunt happens on Halloween day.
The decorations for my home, windows, lights and so on, I always put up on the very first day of October and it is A family event.
