Thread: Dragging out the goods

Has anyone dragged out the boxes and boxes of Halloween decor yet? I'm so tempted!! But maybe it's too soon. I'm sooo ready to open them and dig around cause I always find stuff from the year before that I totally forgot that I bought and it's so exciting!!

No, not yet as everything is in the crawl space & I don't have anywhere to store it unless it's in there! So I won't drag it out till I'm ready to display it all....

I'm so ready to dig my stuff out too! But I think if I do, my husband would have me committed

Way too early for us. Usually after Labor Day we start going through stuff. It's pushing 95 degrees outside so not really feeling Halloween right now!

I was cleaing out a few boxes so I could seperate some stuff for the secret reapers. I really need to cull a few more but, they are stored away for now. I'm doing the cryt this year so really don't need to do anything and don't have the supplied to do it with so I'm just kind of on standstill.

A piece or two here and there. Things that never really made it into a Halloween storage box, but were instead being kept on a shelf in a spare room closet (or elsewhere) are finding their way to one of the fireplace mantels, or maybe the top of the fridge in the kitchen. Stuff that was likely bought in the off-season.

Like many other participants on this forum, there is always something Halloweenie hanging out around the house all year long. Therefor, two or three more that pop up in the pre-season doesn't really seem out of place. Even if it is quite early.

haha, yes. I was trying to be careful of how I worded my first post for that very reason.
