It's true! I was killing some time before work and decided to wonder around Garden Ridge. Much to my surprise they already had Halloween items on display. IT MADE ME SOOO FREAKING HAPPY. I wondered around looking at skulls and I felt happy inside. I just thought I'd give everyone a heads up. Happy Haunting.

Stopped at garden ridge today to get a mirror. Walked into THREE ISLES of Halloween stuff. Lots of JOLs, cool talking skeletons for $40 and lights. Sooo happy! Bought a 3 foot skeleton and those shaking shrub eyes. Forgot the mirror

For the past two years, our GR has had very little Halloween, and most of that was inflatables. Maybe this is going to be a better year! Oops - I forgot I'm not buying anything this year. Must stop reading these threads!

    Went to Garden Ridge today.

ALL of their Halloween stuff was on shelves, but still completely packed up in shipping boxes. Not a single item out on display.

I asked an employee when they might be setting it all out, and she said "I don't know, we don't have enough people to do it."

Meanwhile, 4 aisles of christmas crap RIGHT NEXT to where the Halloween stuff will be. Full aisles and they were still putting stuff out.

I stopped in our GR Friday after work... same thing. They had some JOL's out, but everything else was in boxes piled up. I dug through a couple of them to see what was inside. Got frustrated and left, figured I'd give them some time to get it put out on the shelves.

I believe our GR keeps christmas stuff out year round, don't ever recall going in and not seeing it out. Admittedly, I rarely go there unless my wife drags me along. Except for fall when they put out the Halloween items, then it's me dragging her in there.

That has happened to me more times than I can count. I need to start making lists to remember non Halloween related shopping items.

You're really going to try and not buy anything this year? If you buy something on accident you can send it my way.

GRRR that makes me so angry. I'm tired of people thinking I'm crazy for talking about Halloween a few months early but year round I'm forced to look at Christmas items. I feel your pain.
