First 2 things I thought of when I read this post was the ice cream truck from Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and the ice cream dude from Leigon. If you could pull this off it would be super cool but I may suggest instead of ice cream you could paint "Crazy Candy Cart" or something catchy like that on the side and instead of staying home to hand out candy, you could troll neighborhoods and hand out treat bags of candy to the little kiddies....good grief when you put trolling neighborhoods and little kiddies in the same sentence it sounds even more creepy.

I would love to see the final product if you do it. I can totaly see this thing all neon-ed up or painted with flourescant paint with a healthy dose of blacklights.

Look around craigslist for an old van/truck that's not running and ready for the yard. You can get these for a couple hundred bucks at most. Have it towed to your house, decorate it up, and after Halloween call the local junkyard and have them tow it away. Better yet, sell it to them for about $50 and get some of your money back.

That reminds me of a movie i've seen about an ice cream truck driver who dressed as a clown. He was teased and then accidentally killed by some kids. He "comes back" when they're older for revenge while driving around his ice cream truck.
