I was wondering how many haunters here have a crest or logo for their professional or "amateur" home/yard-haunt? If you have one, why not share it? I can imagine that there are some pretty creative ones out there!! For example, maybe you'd have this on a flyer, a sign, or even carved/painted on a pumpkin. I use mine on the aformentioned, as well as raised designs on wall sconces etc.

    Here's mine...

The W stands for our last name. Depending on how you look at the image, you can see a bat-like creature with horns. If you view the image as a "negative" you can see an angel with wings and a halo above its head. Anybody else see both? Funny thing is, I didn't do this intentionally... it just happened on its own as I tried to make a crest around the W and use the bat head. The "angel" just kind of appeared. Maybe I'm losing it... anyone else see it??? Creeeeeepy!

Let's see yours!!!! And tell us the story or meaning of yours, if there is one.

I don't have one but always wanted one myself. Never took the time to create one... Yours looks great and can be your haunt's trademark! I will try to draw up something soon so I may display it this upcoming season.

Not really a crest, but this is what I use to draw in TOTs and people alike from the neighborhood. I was only able to make roughly 50 flyers last year, so it kind of flopped, but this year, I hope to get a lot more out!

    Nothing so dramatic...

It's origins are from an old superstition the old farmer I used to work for had:
Any time you got cut, or started to bleed, you had to offer that blood to whatever had injured you. Tractor cut you: wipe some blood on it. Weeds cut you, drop some on the ground, etc.

Anyhow, it's stuck with me, and any time some chicken wire on a prop nicked me, that thing got a smear....this transformed a bit in 2008 when I decided to base a design on the idea in honor of the old man. Original purpose was to be a one-off design. (that's my hand dipped in ketchup, placed on a transparancy, and projected onto the 'blood cloth' there. I took advantage of a smear on the thumb to make a little claw. )

Well, it kinda took on a life of it's own. Virtually everything now days has a handprint on it, as a kind of signature from whoever worked on the thing. I've come to especially cherish the little prints from me helpers...(of which I'm noticing I don't have pics of...gotta correct that)
