When does everyone seem to get excited about the season or ready for it to come? I myself usually get my ticks right around the end of July, by then Im hoping to start seeing halloween Merch apear in stores lol But the sad truth is unless your close to big lots thats a far strech until around Septemeber lol. Just wondering if there was any other crazy Halloween Fanatics like me.

I am thinking about Halloween all year long, but I get seriously twitchy end of August, early September.

I'm with Hooch...all year I'm thinking about it. About August it starts to really ramp up and I'm practically frothing at the mouth by the beginning of October.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

I am getting twitchy and it's not even July yet. Have started planning and building.

I am thinking about Halloween year round now. Every item I see, every catalog, every stray stick in the forest- my eye is evaluating is halloween worthiness.
I get super excited in September, and forcing my will upon the entire neighborhood with my halloween hints.
Also, the old pumpkin patch is doing ok, so everyday I dream of my beautiful pumpkins to be!

I think about it all year, but usually get the itch in August when it's sooooo hot!

I get the itch about March
. By then I've had a couple of months without any holiday decor (Christmas decor gets taken down in January) and since I usually am gradually putting up Christmas as soon as Halloween is done, I miss the house decorated. Plus by that time the West Coast Haunters Convention website starts listing vendors and classes, so I start looking forward to that. Since that is in May, by the time it's over, we are absolutely chomping at the bit to get started.
So I guess May is when we really start any serious planning
Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
