Well it looks like I'm on the clock to start building props. Us procrastinators usually need some form of external pressure and I created that today.
I got asked to run in the Vegas Ragnar this morning. It's October 21st/22nd and if you throw in the travel, I'll miss four days of decorating. The following weekend, I run the Halloween 1/2 Marathon which will cost me Friday after work and most of Saturday (possibly all day, depending on when the Husker game starts). So that's 6 days of setup I have to recover.
Plus my daughter is getting hitched in mid September....but that may be a blessing as I might be compelled to finish some props and my lightorama sequences before then so I can show them off when family comes to town for the wedding.

Wow, Scatterbrains. Nothing like having a fire lit under your butt! And congratulations on marrying off your daughter!

No kidding...
Went out in the garage and surveyed the mess last night and that tic, tic, tic, is all I could hear while I was trying to figure out how to lift my funeral carriage up high enough to drill holes in the 4x4 support legs so that I can mount some bigger caaster wheels in it that will stay in. I'm still clueless on it ways a ton and there's really no good place to set a jack and crank it up. It may come down to disassembling the whole thing....ugh!!
