We went to Disneyland recently and I was inspired by the Haunted Mansion, of course. I'd like to do a traditional cemetery in the front yard this year, but I'm having trouble talking the boyfriend into it.

Another source of inspiration was a video by Inxs for Listen Like Thieves. It really sparked an apocalypse theme that we might do for our backyard party. The video, which I can't find on youtube, has a very Mad Max kind of vibe. Fire and destruction and such

It is one of my favourite Halloween movies as well, and Sammy is the best!!! I tried to get my son to go as Sammy last year, but he bailed to go as psychotic doctor; his costumes turned out very well so it was all good.

Maybe one of my kids will go as Sammy this year??? I found the red onezie just need to convince one of them, bribes may be my next step!

We're in the process of moving to Indiana. So I would have to say cornfields have definitely been an inspiration. Even though the rain has caused alot of late planting and barren fields. When I see the corn fields I start thinking about the fall season and of course Halloween!

I have alot of tombstones, bought at discount. My cemetery will be pretty good this year. I have a smaller area than ever before, so I have to plan really good.
I have an actual porch. so the 3 Gemmy Witch sisters will be on it, and it will be their "home." I am using a ton of halloween themed string lights, combined with natural elements like vines, wood from the forest, etc.
    Love the Gargoyles!

This year I would like to spider-fy the house up, at least on the exterior. My inspirations for this are the incredible look that propmistress achieved, Buzzard's spider bathroom, and some pictures I found on the web (ha - no pun intended...) Mine will have to be on a much less elaborate scale, but that's the plan so far!

Propmistress' Spidered-Up House - Wooo Hooo!!! Our Halloween was a success!

Buzzard's Spider Bathroom - Does anyone decorate the bathroom?
