Just replanted my corn crop gardens few weeks ago after the crows got into them and destroyed them. I added a motion head moving owl ($40), a scare crow, hanging cd's, and a net.
Went to water them this morning and the crows got into them again!!!!
I cant win
I would love to shoot them but it is illegal here in WA State to kill a crow because they are protected.![]()

I was surprised to read that too. I also had no idea crows would eat corn either. Feel bad that they have destroyed you corn patch twice now. Don't they know they're suppose to go together with cornstalks for Halloween. Must be some hungry birds or just plain evil.
We live in a semi-rural area and I just got scared by a few the other day. Big ones and they screeched really loud as they flew overhead behind me. Rather startling. When I start noticing them though I always think of Halloween approaching.

Sorry to hear about that bl00d, I know you'll find a way to keep them away

I love crows. I'd never want to kill them.
But yeah, they're incredibly smart birds. Once they get in, it's next to impossible to get them back out.

I will find a way perhaps a motion activated air cannon will do the trick! Just makes me mad not that it is the second time. But the quality time me and my 2 year old put into these crops.

I understand your frustration.
Maybe rig poles with heavy duty fishing wire wrapped around them, and looped onto the fishing wire, metal cans full of pebbles and/or pennies.
So when the crows try and get through them, the cans shake and scare them.
Or that mini air gun idea I just saw
