Thread: input needed from the folks who want to be in the secret reaper 2011

well, guys, as you are aware, it is almost time to get the SR going once again, last year I had the sign up go from July 17 until Aug. 17. well, I had about 10 people who came in a bit late, and wanted to participate, which I allowed, seeing as there were that many it was easy to divide up the names, after the other ones had been sent. I am concerned with the late people wanting to join in, alot of people don't start coming around til the middle or end of August, and do want to join in on our fun, so my question to you is, how early do you want to start the sign up, how long to keep it open, and what to do with people who don't come around til closer to Halloween? any and all input will be gratefully considered. all opinions weighed before I make my final decision on when to start! thanks in advance every one!!!

I say we start as we usually do. SR helps us stay in the mood for Halloween when its out of our grasp...at least thats how I feel. For those coming on board closer to Halloween I suppose we could look at a second Reaper or tell them they missed it and tune in earlier next year. I love reaper this time of year because you get to experience Halloween/Gifts during off season. That is just my two cents.

I think I agree, I like having it the same time frame. Gives us a little more time to be creative. Then, maybe a second reaper if one is warrented. That is how I did it the first time. I saw it late and a second group started up. Then I was hooked.

Agree - same time frame. Those that came in late last year, should be aware that it starts up around the same time THIS year, and it's up to them to check in and see if they'd like to participate.

I don't mind having the cut-off pushed out a couple of weeks but, I think that no matter how long you hold off, you are still going to have people wanting to join late. I would be happy to help you with the second SR group if you want (or this one for that matter) just let me know..

I agree as well. Gives us time to shop, do research on someone or make a prop or something for someone. And we all know that takes time.lol.

Same time frame gets my vote.

well, it sounds like a similar time frame will work, so unless there are any major objections, I will try to get it going around the middle of July, will decide the exact date shortly, thanks guys!!!!!!!!
