Walking to a seafood festival, my boyfriend and I were admiring a beach house rennovation. John peaked in the dumpster as we passed and saw these two gems. I asked the two men standing near the front door if they were free to take. They said no problem, be careful.

I think they were used as corners to an outdoor tent/canopy. There are removable shelves too.

We were thinking about cutting off the top square part, leaving the rounded top. We might just keep the shelves and put PVC candles on them, skulls, etc.

We'll build an arched cemetery sign and connect the two.

    Great find. Congratulations!

Unfortunately, now you'll never be able to pass a dumpster without taking a peek inside.

Those are fantastic! Absolutley leave the shelves on, and as you mentioned, place some pvc candles, skulls, or even nice evil-faced jack o lanterns. That's the kind of stuff that makes a haunt so unique! Great find!

WOW! COOL! That's one of the things I love about Halloween, you can easily decorate with "garbage" and it often times looks better than the expensive store-bought alternative.
