It's nothing great, but it is a rat. I was messing around with making mache pulp out of egg cartons. I just wanted to try something small so I made the rat.

Great to see all the rat-love, not to mention some great ideas I intend to shamelessly steal! Love love love the rat witch sisters, the skele riding the rat, and of course Ruby the Magnificent
Deadna, I can hardly believe you got that rat for a quarter. Why don't I find garage sales like that? As I recall, he was not cheap when new. I've plunked mine of the head of a Bucky in the past, but still haven't found the perfect use. If you do, please let me know so I can steal that idea too.

The price tag is still on it...it was $11.94 from Walmart. I'm surprised the seller had it so cheap because all their other stuff was priced high. She really wanted to get rid of that hat and kept trying to pass it off all day. I grabbed it as soon as I spotted it

I think the best use for it is a person strapped down on a gurney in a hospital scene covered in more rats and bloody rags. I have many more rats packed away but my fav is probably the one caught in a trap because it sounds so real.
