My corn patches I was growing for halloween both got destroyed by crows! I had 2 nice gardens set up nicely sized and woke up one morning and found crows tearing it apart. I even had a zombie scare crow!

now I had to replant, went to the hardware store to get some netting but it was out of my price range so I built a net myself w/ 30lb fishing string. Read that hanging cd's will scare them off, so I hung some and bought a moving owl.

ARGHHH! SO PISSED! just the night before they got destroyed after watering I was all happy and content on how corn rows were looking.

Glad they havent touched the now popping up pumpkin patch.

Those crows would have been dead if I caught them, they ruined my pepper patch one year. I have always had a hatred for them since
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

That stinks. Last year I was growing these really tall Sunflowers and my hubbie's friend's kid ran up with a stick, whacked its top off, handed it to me and ran away. It was pretty sad....

Oh No! Do you still have a feasable time frame for corn?

Do you mean they ate the small green starts? I thought they only went after the ears of corn. We don't have any but there are some across town that stake out the local grocery...I always thought they were kind of cool but I guess not now
