We're officially under the 150 day until Halloween mark... and I'm starting to freak out a little. 149 days does not sound like very long to start and finish everything Ghouliet & I want to make for this year's haunt. So far all we've gotten done is 2 (almost 3) headstones... and a cemetery sign.
Please tell me I'm not the only one starting to feel the crunch so I feel slightly less crazy.

You are not the only one. I'm already realizing I'm not going to be able to finish everything I wanted to do before Halloween. I had an ambitious list of stuff I wanted to make but between all the other stuff I have going on its slowly getting shorter. All you have to do is just remember to have fun. I think that is the main thing. I'm sure most Tots will love whatever you do.

I mentioned the same thing to my family last week, with summer nearly here, vacations, yard work, there really is not much time to finish our list. My daughter is finished dance this weekend, she said we will go hard on some of projects starting next weekend....really I am freaking out a bit too.....
What I am going to need is your standard flame thrower...

I don't feel the crunch because I rarely make any of my props.

You're not crazy- we're making corn stalks & hay bales (as well as going to buy others) for '11's "Haunted Cornfield" yard theme & only have a measly few already finished.
Nothing some deep breaths & a meditation session can't cure, right?!?!?

We started back in April this year. We're making a Dog Soldiers werewolf, and we found out a mask won't work. The movie werewolf was based on a real wolf head, so we had to have a taxidermist make us a head, which we found out takes a couple of months. We're glad we didn't wait to get started.

I'm totally freaking. I had to drop all of my prop making plans. My Halloween is completely up in the air right now because of my neighbors (I posted here about it under the topic 'No Halloween for Me This Year). So we are apartment hunting now and I'm trying to come up with a new plan if I'm still here. Its just stressful, because every place we've looked at has like no storage at all.
I'm hoping that we find a good sized place with somewhere for me to set up shop making props (the one downside to our current location before our neighbors moved in). I also hope we find a place with a dishwasher, because washing dishes just takes too much time away from my Halloween planning/prop making.
