Here's a walk through of my backyard that I shot a few weeks ago. I explain the ideas I have so far, but there are some areas that I just don't know what to do with Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated! Thankies

And you can use the dead tree trimmings.
    Hallowindows for the windows.
    Scarecrow with pumpkins and cornstalks.

Oh honey, I got junk in the trunk too and it's no problem for me to get by lol. That would be real cool to have some kind of sconces lining that alley, but we don't own this house so I don't think our landlord would appreciate any drilling lol. That alley is quite dark at night, so I think that alone will freak guests out. Especially seeing a strobe going in the distance. All the tree timmings are gone. Landlord came and took em. I'll definately check out pumpkinrot. Thanks

I mainly need ideas for the area near the trash cans, the front windows and the sunroom windows. Again, I don't want anything to be revealed to guests. The problem with those window posters, is that they have to be illuminated from inside. I want the inside of my house to be dark and eerie for the party. Grrr...I'm in such a pickle lol

    Hmm, velcro....now there's an idea!

Oh ok, I know of those projections. I actually wanna get one of those 'boo it yourself' videos for the window facing the backyard. I can't put that in the sunroom windows cuz guests go in there during the party and they'll see the trick.

Oh Miss Mandy you are to funny......I really liked your video. I am just lovin that tree at the end of the alley. A spot light on it and maybe a body hanging from one of the branches or popping from behind the tree. It kinda reminds me of the apple trees fgrom the Wizard of Oz that slapped Dorothy for picking an apple. With the scarecrows and pumpkins area you can make ghosts with a 5 foot stake from home depot and any kinda white fabric or sheets or even a white plastic tablecloth and you can make a few of them to fill in that area.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

Still watching the video, but I wanted to get this idea down before I lost it. That space next to the trashcans could be a "freshly dug grave" scene. Get some top soil, a black tarp or big piece of black paper or something, a shovel, and a big dummy mannequin of some kind wrapped in a black plastic bag.

Lay the black paper or tarp down, and then fill in the top soil around a hole that you can mark with a permanent marker or something(it won't be noticeable at night). Make it look as real as possible.

Impale the shovel into the dirt right next to the grave hole in the dirt, and place the dummy in the black plastic wrap next to the grave hole as well. If you want, you can add some flood lights(Halloween appropriate colors), and maybe a fog machine with chilled fog. As well as a lantern of some kind right next to the shovel.

That is a fantastic idea, TrickRTreater! ANd best of all...it's cheap lol. Omg I love HF and I love all of you guys!

I like the body hanging from the tree idea too, blackfog! I think I'm going to incorporate both of these ideas somehow.
