I have been a member of the forum for a little over a week now, and have spent that time getting used to the site. WOW this place is amazing, so many friendly Halloweeniacs (Is that a word), with so many fantastic Halloween ideas to share.

Looking forward to putting together my own haunt this year, so expect lot's of questions and pleas for advice lol. And I will share with you all of my triumphs and failures as I go along.

I know exactly how you feel. While I have been a member for a lot longer than you have I am continuously amazaed at how friendly and willing to share the Halloweeniacs are! Ive never been to a site that had so many amazing ideas as well as people who were willing to go out of their way to walk you through step by step without expecting anything in return. I can tell you I have visited other sites and this is not the norm. Some are either too competitive or dont want to share how they did something. (sort of like when you ask a woman for a recipe of hers and she leaves an ingredient out just because she doesnt want yours to come out as good) LOL So glad you are finding this place warm and friendly. I have to say I believe Larry the head guy here has a lot to do with that. (I dont know him too well personally like some of the others and Im sure if you asked him who I was hed say Spookilicious who? However I do know that If a thread starts to turn sour he immediately steps in and gives a warning and if the people dont listen then he just nips that thread in the bud. He also has lots of moderators who help him keep an eye on things. The people here are some of the most creative, funny, and kind people I have every met. Good luck and I look foward to hearing about all your triumphs

here, here Spooki, I second that! Revned, welcome, I am glad you like it here, I have found the folks here to be so supportive, and helpful, it is a amazing group of people! I agree with Spooki, that Larry is a big part of keeping it that way, as well as the mods. but a group hug is in order for all the wonderful people here on the forum, ((((((( HUG))))))) you all rock!!!

Big fan. I am more of a voyeur than a contributor but I am trying to fix that. Admitting you have the problem is the first step or something like that.

This place is so awesome.
Every once in awhile we get a bad apple but those are gotten rid of quickly.

Welcome, welcome, welcome!! Be prepared for many a sleepless night while your head is spinning with ideas that the creative people of this site have shared! The writer's cramp can be quite painful too (from writing and re-writing lists of things you want to try and things you need to buy) lol
But you are right, the people here do not hesitate to help you with your shopping lists and answer any questions you may have... They are the best!
