Just wanted everyone to know it's going to be fun weekend down in Seattle. Especially with the introduction of "Zombie Tag" on Sunday. Here's the official description:

Get your Zombie Apocalypse training at Crypticon!

On Sunday, May 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Crypticon will be having our first ever Zombie Tag Game.

What you'll need if you want to play:

    • Nerf Gun (or similar) and ammo*

Don't have a Nerf gun? You can still play as a zombie, or share a gun between rounds with a friend.

    The Rules are simple:

    • A group of survivors attempts to survive a "zombie outbreak" by avoiding a growing number of "zombies."
    • A small number of players begin as zombies, and the rest are survivors.
    • Survivors will be armed with Nerf Guns and will have flags through belt loops.
    • Zombies will have to remove the flag from the survivor's body to infect them.
    • If a zombie retrieves a flag, the human must set his gun aside, and join the zombie ranks.
    • If a Zombie is shot, they will be temporarily stunned, but are never completely eliminated.
    • Games will last until one survivor is left.
    • This survivor will be declared the winner.

We will play in a designated area, and will have multiple rounds.

    A few things to consider:

    • This game is high paced, with lots of running around.
    • There is a good chance you could bump into someone or fall down.

There will be shooting of Nerf Guns, and that means a few things:

    • While the general rule is NO HEAD SHOTS, some people don't know how to aim.
    • Bring safety gear if you prefer.
    • You will be bringing your own Nerf Guns and ammo, please make sure you have a way to identify your own gear.
    • Keep in mind, ammo can and does get lost easily, bring extra if you want.

Basically, we want everyone to have a ton of fun, but, if you are a big crybaby, maybe this isn't a game for you

Sounds like fun. We will be locked in a school with a bunch of cry babies on Saturday. At least they will be when we are done with them, lol. We are putting our haunt in the basketball gym for the senior lock in. A round of zombie tag sounds awesome though.

I do LOVE Zombie Tag. I had fun playing with it while I was at Transworld vending/covering the show.

I wish I could make it there. If you want make sure to call it in to our Rot Line and a recap of the fun. 641-715-3900 x35822

    But MAN ZOMBIE TAG RULES!!!

I also was part of Zombie Dodge Ball this past year too. That was just as much fun!

Are you going? I have been trying to find someone to drag with me. Sadly though, I wouldn't make it for zombie tag. I volunteer for 10-12 on Sundays and wouldn't get there until it was over.

I don't think I'll be able to go. I'm the only person in the hose that's not sick right now, and I'm worried that as they get better, I'll get worse, so I'll probably be feeling terrible by Sunday.
