Finally! A little workspace!

Ok... so for the past month Ghouliet & I have been working out of her garage. We had kinda faked a little work station with saw horses and an old piece of wood she had just laying around. For a month, we just kept collecting things (tools, goodies from Goodwill, little tiny bits of styrofoam EVERYWHERE) and never really got around to cleaning.

Ghouliet left for a quilting retreat this weekend... so I decided to surprise her by cleaning up a bit!

You can actually walk in it now!!! *dies*

Our makeshift work station got cleaned off a lot. And scootched to the side of the garage a little more - it was in the center. This shot is less impressive, only because it still looks hella messy with all the usual garage crap.

This part is the huge accomplishment. It was covered with dad's old computer crap. NOW IT IS A WORKSPACE! The best part, we discovered some old speakers that I could plug my MP3 player into. So now we can have prop building muzak.

There were also 2 empty plastic bins that used to be in Ghouliet's sewing room... so I used them for scrap foam & wood. There's really not a good place to put them. :X At least they're together?

Now I just have to wait for her to get back from her retreat....!

Very nice! I've been working out of my garage, too. I'm designing a work shed right now that I hope to move a lot of my tools into.

It looks great, I bet she is really happy! There is nothing sweeter than having a project you are dying to work on in a clean, organized space. Love it!
