    Hey all,

each year I take my three kids to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party. Well I can say I am excited for this year's annual trip to Walt disney World during October.

We got our Mickey's Not So Scary Tickets in the mail yesterday and no matter how many years it happens, I still, as do the kids and wife, get excited seeing the physical tickets come for the party.

Does anyone else hit this up in Sept, Oct, or Nov?

Now in Orlando I can also say I do hit up the Halloween Horror Nights and Howl-O-Scream events too, but those are nighttime events w/o the kids. Those are awesome but too intense for them.

I moved to Tampa 3 yrs ago and have only been WDW once! I never had any interest in a Not-So Scary anything before but I did hear they break out all the Nightmare Before Christmas props at the Haunted Mansion... would love to check that out.

Have gone to both HOS and HHN since I have been here, one year one always seems to better than the other. Last year went HHN, I loved The Orphanage and The Black Plague haunts. There was so much potential for scare zone called The Covent but it just fell flat. These 2 attractions seem to dominate any other type of Haunted Houses in Central Florida though.

It is a very fun more tame event. There is a special parade, a Villians stage show, and a good part is TONS of ramdom villians roaming freely around the park.

    Some things to note is:

DO not buy a Magic Kingdom ticket for the day. Even though the party starts at 7pm, you are allowed to enter the park at 4pm. So why waist the money on a park addmission when you already will be at the park a good amount of time.

Also for tickets, it is best to buy tickets now. They do often have some left at the ticket office, but it usually sells out. Key is to look at the dates of the party, pick a day and buy the tickets.

I already have my MNSSHP tickets, but not even my normal WDW ticket for my trip. It is a hard ticket too. So once you buy it, it is for that day only.

But if you have a young family or teens or anyone who loves more family Halloween fun this is the event. My kids enjoyed it and it was nice to have something more family friendly.

I do go to Halloween Horror Nights and Howl O Scream but I would never take most kids 13 and under to those events at all.

When are anyone planning on going maybe we can hook up and meet face to face. I will be there Saturday October 2.
