I drive by this little cemetery several times a week & I finally stopped in tonight to look around. This caught my attention & I thought of Terra!
It's much smaller than lifesized, but it's the same idea!

Nice tombstone; very different to what I'm used to seeing. You'll have to let me know where it's at, since I'm not that far away...
Love the avatar, also, Lisa

Interestingly, Terra's looks more like a real monument than this one, which almost has a plastic appearance to it! Terra can make my headstone any day.

Why does this look like a fresh grave when the man died over 2 years ago?

Garth - it's in Utica, the St. Lawrence cemetery. Very small, only a couple neat stones. The actual Utica cemetery is much older & has more to look at.
I got the gargoyle in my avatar from the hubby & daughter on Mother's Day.
Deadna - I have to believe the Mrs. recently joined the Mr. and her name just isn't carved yet.

That's pretty cool. Can't tell what material it's made out of, but the angel has a weird quality to it, looks almost like resin. The right side, though (by the roses), you can see it's been polished, so it's probably some kind of stone. Certainly looks nice.

Cool stone and thanks for snapping a picture of it
You know what would be a Halloween twist to this? Instead of an angel lovingly wrapping it's arms around the couple... have a devil menacingly grabbing onto it.

Lol, I was thinking the angel would be hugging a JOL pumpkin.
