Think about Hammer films and Universal monsters. Watch some of those films and use the gothic look and cherecters for your party decoration.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

Set up a bathroom, painted in black, white and shades of gray to look like the famous shower scene from Psycho.

    Oh man, where to begin?

    Classics:

Creature from the Black Lagoon - lots of rocks/fake foilage/ underwater cave
    Dracula - stone walls/ candles/ bats/ coffin/ drapes
Frankenstein - monster lab/ tables/ lots of jars with brains and what not/ neon lights even

    Slashers

    Freddy - boiler room!!
    Jason - camp theme
Ghostface - bedroom set up/ have him pop out of a closet
Myers - lots of pumpkins/ very dimly lit/ have Michael come out of the shadows
Leatherface - tables with body parts/ lots of blood/ chains and hooks

I really like the idea of a black-and-white room. Decorate a room and take a photo of it, convert the image to black and white, then go and paint the room to match. It wouldn't really be feasible for most people but it would definitely be a really bizarre, unnerving effect.

What are you doing? Is this going to be something in your home or a professional or charity walk-through haunt?

Something to keep in mind is that many if not most customers who have been polled over the years say they find identifiable, well-known movie monsters not so scary. There is definite entertainment value, but if you are working towards being really scary this may not be the best way to go.

Well you see each year we do a haunted house for a scholarship in memory of a woman who passed away with cancer!! She was a nurse and we do scholarships for people who are going into nursing! but its a huge building and im thinking its gonna be really good. cause some ideas we had was:

    - Saw
    - Devil - with a elevator crash
    - Dead Silence
    - Wrong turn
    - Exorcist

but those were just ideas.. and what i needed to know was what you thought.
And what i could make for these rooms. All Ideas will be greatly appreciated!
