I joined in 2010 a few months before Halloween. I was enjoying the beginning of the fall season and it put me in the Halloween spirit. I simply typed Halloween in my search engine and bam right there it was. I love this forum and how it keeps Halloween fun all year around. I just can"t believe it took me this long to find it.

I found this site in the fall of 2005. I lurked for YEARS before finally joining in July 2009.

I don't think I can put into words what it's like to share a love of Halloween with so many like-minded people. It's especially meaningful when you feel misunderstood by your family and friends. I guess my Halloween forum peeps are my "Spirit"ual family.

I joined up in early 2008....I found the forum while doing a Google search for "Halloween Pirates".....We built a deck off of the front of our house in 2007 and I threw a few "Piratey" things out there for Halloween that year....

After coming to this forum and "Borrowing" some great ideas from all of the very talented people here, things kind of evolved with my display......

Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

I joined last year a couple of months before glorious Halloween 2010. I had found my Mecca! I have been inspired, in awe and bewitched by all the amazing props, pics and people on this site. The talent on this forum is overwhelming! I cannot wait to start building props...have been dreaming about this Halloween since midnight November 1st!

I can't remember how I found out about this forum! Been on here for a few years now. Just love Halloween, but don't go all out for it like many of you all do, but I LOVE to read all the posts!

I really have always wanted to learn to build my own props so I came here and while I post mainly in the fall (August-November), I lurk throughout the year. I think about this forum a lot even when I'm not posting.
I am part of this group. Joined in...December '07, I think? I don't know, it'll show up here when I submit this post. And I second Hooch's sentiment, Mel! Good to see ya! Brazil?? There's an adventure!

I joined Halloween Forum Mmmmmmm let me think long and hard about this one. . . . Oh yeh I remember it was last week lol.

Here in the UK it is difficult to find like minded people, as Halloween for most Brits involves nipping to ASDA for a pumpkin and bobbing for apples, whereas I want to celebrate the whole month. I wanted to find people who were Halloweeniacs like myself, and after one quick search on Google I found Halloween Forum.

Here it gets interesting, I looked around the forum as a guest and couldn't believe my eye's. The members here are some of the most talented people I have come across, props, food, costumes, sound effects, lighting, smells this place has it all, and everybody is so friendly, they all want to share ideas and help each other. I have been blown away by the people here.

    Thank you all again

I stumbled across HF in 09 while searching the web for some how-to's, and i have to say this is the best halloween site i have seen. Who could complain about endless streams of amazing how-to's and very helpful people to go along with them!
