Wow, it seems everyone really likes this book. I have one of her previous books (An American History/American Holiday and I like it as well). Be sure to review it on Amazon, Leslie would like that I am sure. She is also on Facebook. I will get a copy of this too!

I just finished reading Halloween Nation this evening. Great book and I loved reading about all the different "modern" events that take place around the country. Its a great read, imo, for anyone on the forum. My only complaint was how the book "ended". I turned the page and was like, oh, im done. lol It really lefted me wanting more.

I have to say I'm a bit disapointed with it. It's a great idea to write a book about real people and Halloween in contemporary society, but most of it seemed to be about the zombie flash mob craze, and I'd rather see real home haunters and haunt event organisers featured.

I read it, and I really enjoyed it. I liked her writing style, amusing and light. Only down side I saw were the pics that were printed in the middle, like on the spine crease?? They were hard to see. Well worth a read, IMHO
