Thread: need some ideas...

Hi everyone,
started a new halloween/horror web site this year. I want it to be a little different..so I'm looking for some ideas...I have a classifieds section so to include crafters and prop builders and stuff. I also have a blog, so I'm wondering...on my blog...do you think people would rather read about haunted places I visit and see some vids of the place or pics or both? I live in newengland so there are tons of haunted places to visit. Thoughts?

Is what my little town, Mount Carroll, illinois has been called by a newspaper article.
The old college campus helps this aura. "Neo-colonial? architecture, brick, white trim, columns, steeples.
Most of this town's settlers , merchants and wealthy did travel here from the east coast around 1840.
What do people want or like to see?
I provide them with a tour of my house, The Ravens Grin Inn, located right behind downtown ancient storefronts that surround the courtyard, Civil War monument, cannons, the town looks like a set for a movie about victorian times. Brick streets antique street lights too!
All adds to my house's spookiness, as if the graveyard on the hill looking right down the street at you might not!
I give most of the house tours myself. I try to guage what kind of a tour they might be here for?
I can do ghost stories (About this house & Town.
I can add some attempted humor to lighten the mounting fear-load for some people .
We can do them specially for kids and little kids, allowing them to become a part of the definately fun stuff here (I can't hoard it all for myself everytime!)
I also do definatetly adult tours with only innuendos , no filthy language (except if spoken in a language known Only to Me!)
So to your inquiry:"What do people want?"
Remain ever so flexible and open-minded, give them everthing and allow them to pick & choose and you can't go too far wrong.
