I was at Home Depot today buying supplies for work and walked by the lighting department. I seen they had these Halogen yard spot lights. The cheapest was $9.99 up to around $20-30. The one I looked at requires a power supply (which they sell). They also have various colored bulbs. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them?

you can most likely tint the clear lens with a colored film or transparent plastic. These look great though because they are small, have a nice output and are battery operated so no wires! You may want to keep them dry though as they are meant for indoors. But I always use indoor and outdoor products everywhere throughout my haunt!

I didn't see those. The ones I seen were halogen. Going to go and buy some tomorrow as a test.

I use a light fixture with ground stake and then screw in a seperate halogen spotlight. I get them at Lowes - $10 for the ground fixture and $6 for the light bulb. They work great!
