If anyone has read the thread about favorite Halloween specials, you'll see my recent post where I list a lot of programs, a number of which people might not have seen or even known about. The secret of creating a collection like mine is pretty simple. You need of course a DVD player/burner and the link I've supplied below.
Once September rolls around, I start scouring the airways by entering "Halloween" in the search listing engine on the TV Guide page. If you've never done this, you'll be amazed by how many Halloween themed shows and sitcom episodes are airing. I look especially for those one-time shows that might air once, and never be shown again. It's best to record them the first time around, because that might be it and your chance is lost. I've recorded some of these and they've never been on TV again. Keep these links bookmarked. The second one is for all the shows I follow on TV. Have fun.

Use Television listings, then go into the Favorites section to customize. You need to use the search engine to find your shows, or enter something generic like "Halloween" or "ghost."
