hey girls and guys im new to this halloween haunting thing. i'm looking at doing my own haunted hayride threw the woods about 5 acers of land i have to work with. lighting with tiki torches also we have power on site so thats a plus. need some ideas for some scenes. i want to stay away from the hollywood theme. stay with the scary gross kindof things. i wanted to scare the poop out of them. lol Thanks could use some help

Are you gonna have actors? If you do you can have them chase everybody with like chainsaws and do a sort of texas chainsaw thing since you have so much space to work with. That's just one scene you can do. There's so many options you can do...you can do a sort of gore shack with an actor out front, witches scene, vampires. The options are endless.

a cemetery with zombies, especially if you do have actors, could be really creepy, a old run down abandoned one in the woods,

oh yeah zombies and a cemetery definitely! Or like an old abandoned creepy shack. I saw pictures on here for building a facade for that. It looks really cool. Like old lanterns, boarded up windows. I think that would be perfect for you and what you're working with.

yeah i was thinking of doing a cemetery. i'm looking to hire about 14 actors. do you think zombies for the cemetery for like a grim reaper?

i have been also thinking about having a clown scene. jus not sure what i'm going to do for that. any ideas.

Clown scene...like do a demented traveling circus kind of thing.

Try a junk yard or salvage yard. Get some watch dogs to help with scares some left over bodies from car wrecks.

oh yeah, the demented circus sounds great, for a section, , also a witch area , with the cauldron,hut, etc. a wicked witch approaching the guests. offering poison apples. etc.
I would have a combination of live actors and static or animated props, maybe some of the live actor in with the props so no on knows who is real or not,,,,
