Well I just bought this complete McDonald's set from 1996 Halloween. I'm excited. It's this kind of stuff that I think about when I think of childhood Halloween memories. Do you guys remember these and do you have any? Or any other McDonald's Halloween toy (or other restaurants for that matter)? Such nostalgia when I saw these, especially the spider one.

I just bought another set, too. I guess today is nostalgia day. I have no idea where my old Halloween stuff is. My parents got divorced when I was 12, and after we all lived in separate places I really have no idea who got the Halloween box or if it was tossed out or anything. Suppose I should investigate that. Here's the 1993 set I just bought!

I have both sets times two. Got them when they were giving them out in the happy meals and had to get them for my two girls back in the day lol!I just love these and put them out every Halloween.

I'm going to be putting mine out then, too. I used to have some of the 1996 set, but they are lost to time now.

I know we got a couple of Grimace's with a JOL mask, that flips up and has a hole in gut. We also used to have a Ronald McDonald spread eagle with a two piece frankenstein costume that clips on over him

"Nostalgia"? I'm 61 yrs old, that's tons of things to feel that way about! I'm so old I remember when a new restaurant chain came to the midwest.. called MacDonalds!
    "Think they wil make it?"
"I don't know.. those little burgers are pretty thin!"
Tonight at the local Dairey Queen I noticed a small plastic box sitting out for everyone to look into, pennies mostly two stacks of them with a few dimes there too, maybe a total of ..60cents.
This was just change for those who come up a few cents short. 60 cents!
When I was a kid.. for 60 cents you could buy a chocolate candy bar(10cents) a bottle of pop(10 cents), go see a Hollywood horror movie(15cents) but a little plastic airplane model(29cents) MAD magazine(15Cents?)..... so, that small pile of money just sitting there looking very small and not tempting anyone to scoop it into their pocket , Really has changed in the years, hasn't it!
    Nostalgia! OUCH!!!
    Make it stop hurting!
    hahaha!

This was back when toy marketing was at it's best! Nowadays happy meal toys are licensed "crap". I always looked forward to McDonalds, and even Burger Kings toys during Halloween...but the originality and brand awareness has tapered off. When's the last time you actually saw a "Mcnugget Buddies" toys or a "Grimace" toy or costume. Between the mid 80's to mid 90's Halloween kidsmeal toys were awesome!

I had a few of those toys, sadly they all were lost over the years. At least I still have my glow in the dark pail.
