I'm stuck between the haunted mansion/hotel/house theme and a pirate theme.

I LOVE the haunted hotel theme but im really wanting to take on a new theme as i always do the regular haunted house theme.

What do YOU all think is better?

I would do the haunted hotel but, make it your own twisted nightmare.
The Pirate theme has been done for many years previously. While some never tire of it... others do. Try to get the patron guests to interact with the haunt to make it as realistic as possible & draw them in.

My vote would be for a "Pirate" themed haunt.......Big surprise there.....!

Being located in Florida, you should have an easy time finding nautical stuff to go in your haunt......

The "Pirates" group here on the forum has lots of very talented & "Piratey" folk....you can gets tons of great ideas from looking at the members photo albums:

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

I love pirate theme haunts but I personally must lean towards the Haunted Hotel theme! Its much creepier and gives that spine tingling feeling walking down an empty hallway...
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

I agree with ter-ran. As far as I'm concerned, theres nothing better than an old, dark, creaky haunted house or hotel!! LOVE IT!!

What I like about a mansion and/or hotel theme is that it can be from any era.

Looks like you've answered your own question.

Also, with another Pirates of the Caribbean flick coming out, pirates will be back on everyone's mind.
